The Wilson Combat NULA 4+1 is a bolt action in .308 / 7.62 NATO with a 16" barrel, a 1:11.25 twist and 4-round capacity plus one chambered.

A carbine-length barrel keeps the rifle maneuverable, trading some velocity for handling. That is slower than the usual twist for this cartridge, so it favors lighter bullets; very heavy projectiles may not stabilize. It ships without iron sights, so budget for an optic, rings and a base if you do not already have them.

The .308 is commonly chosen for hunting, target shooting and general use. Probably the most versatile centerfire cartridge available – ammunition is everywhere, and it handles most North American game.
