Winchester Guns 535705220 XPR Scope Combo 308 Win 3+1 22″ Matte Black Synthetic Stock Matte Blued Right Hand Vortex Crossfire II 3-9x40mm

Description

The Winchester XPR is a bolt action rifle in .308 / 7.62 NATO with a 22" barrel, a 1:12 twist and 3-round capacity.

This barrel length is the usual compromise: enough to develop most of the cartridge's velocity while still being manageable to carry all day, and short enough that a suppressor on the end does not make it unwieldy. That is slower than the usual twist for this cartridge, so it favors lighter bullets; very heavy projectiles may not stabilize. It comes drilled & tapped, so it is ready to take an optic without extra machining.

The .308 is commonly chosen for hunting, target shooting and general use. Probably the most versatile centerfire cartridge available – ammunition is everywhere, and it handles most North American game.

The Winchester XPR is a rugged, no nonsense game-getter that will put meat in your freezer for many years to come. The XPR bolt-action rifle features the M.O.A. Trigger System; two-position safety; bolt release button; one-piece trigger guard and magazine frame design offers a generous guard opening for use with gloves; button-rifled, free-floating barrel; drilled & tapped receiver; synthetic stock with an Inflex Technology recoil pad and a detachable single stack box magazine. Includes a Vortex Crossfire 3-9×40 scope with a BDC reticle. and Weaver rings & bases.
