WINCHESTER XPR 270WSM 24″ – BLK SYN W/VORTEX 3-9X40MM

Description

The Winchester XPR is a bolt action rifle in .270 WSM with a 24" barrel, a 1:10 twist and 3-round capacity plus one chambered.

A long barrel gives the cartridge room to build velocity, at the cost of handling in tight spaces and some added weight. That is the standard twist for this cartridge, and it stabilizes the bullet weights most factory ammunition is loaded with. It ships without iron sights, so plan on an optic and a way to mount it: a red dot or holographic sits on a rail, a scope needs rings and a base, and a rifle with neither needs a mount first.

The .270 WSM is commonly chosen for deer, antelope and open-country hunting. A long-standing flat-shooting hunting cartridge.
