Winchester Repeating Arms 525214102 Xpert Sporter SR Full Size 22 LR 10+1 16.50″ Matte Black Threaded Sporter Barrel, Drilled & Tapped Matte Black Steel Receiver, Fixed Satin Walnut Stock

Description

The Winchester Repeating Arms Xpert Sporter is a bolt action rifle in .22 LR with a 16.5" barrel, a 1:16 twist and 10-round capacity plus one chambered.

Rimfire velocity peaks in the high teens of barrel length, so a barrel this short gives up very little and keeps the rifle light and quick to handle. That is the standard twist for this cartridge, and it stabilizes the bullet weights most factory ammunition is loaded with. It comes with a ramped post/ front sight and a adj. leaf rear sight.

The .22 LR is commonly chosen for small game, training and high-volume practice. Ammunition is cheap enough to shoot all day, which is why it remains the standard first rifle and the standard practice rifle.

The Xpert Sporter SR from Winchester Repeating Arms combines accuracy, dependability and style in a lightweight bolt-action package. Chambered in 22 LR, the Xpert features a precision Rimfire M.O.A. Trigger, button-rifled barrel with Bentz-style chamber and a satin finish wood stock with traditional checkering. 1/2" x 28 TPI threaded muzzle with knurled thread protector; ambidextrous magazine release using side-mounted rails or release tab; drilled & tapped; adjustable rear sight and blade front sight. Accepts aftermarket 10/22 magazines (22 LR only). Includes one rotary magazine.
