The Yankee Hill Machine Flip Sight Set is an iron sight.
Iron sights align a front and a rear reference on the target without magnification or batteries. They are what a gun points with when nothing is mounted, and what it falls back on if an optic fails.
These fold down out of the way, so they can sit on the same rail as an optic and be flipped up only if it fails.
Sight fitment is specific to the firearm. Dovetail dimensions and sight heights differ between models and even between generations of the same model, so check what your slide or rail is cut for.
