The Cold Steel Espada Xl features a 7.50" AUS-10A stainless blade, clip point, plain edge, G-10 handle, black finish.
G-10 is a fiberglass laminate: light, dimensionally stable, and grippy even wet.
This is a larger folder aimed at outdoor and work use, where reach and cutting power matter more than minimising pocket bulk.
Carry laws are set locally as well as by state, and a 7.5" blade is legal to carry in many places and not in others – check your state and city rules before you carry it. Knives ship directly to you with no FFL transfer and no background check, unlike a firearm.
The Cold Steel Espada was inspired by the classical Navaja knives of Spain, but was utterly modern in both appearance and materials. A design collaboration between custom knife maker Andrew Demko and Cold Steel President Lynn C. Thompson. The Espada's blades are made from premium American S35VN Alloy Steel, chosen for its ability to not only take a super-fine cutting edge. They feature expertly polished G-10 scales and mirror polished 7075 Aluminum bolsters and frame. Each Espada is equipped with our patented Tri-Ad locking mechanism, proven to have shock resistance and strength.
