The Cold Steel features a 4" S35VN blade, clip point, plain edge, G-10 handle.
The blade is S35VN, a refined powder steel that keeps the edge retention of S30V while being meaningfully easier to sharpen. G-10 is a fiberglass laminate: light, dimensionally stable, and grippy even wet.
This is a larger folder aimed at outdoor and work use, where reach and cutting power matter more than minimising pocket bulk.
Carry laws are set locally as well as by state, and a 4.0" blade is legal to carry in many places and not in others – check your state and city rules before you carry it. Knives ship directly to you with no FFL transfer and no background check, unlike a firearm. Keep the blade dry and the pivot clean, and touch the edge up on a strop or fine stone before it gets properly dull – it is far less work than bringing back a blunt edge.
The Talwar boasts a 2" wide S35VN blade. Flat ground, with a continuously curved cutting edge from choil to upswept point it offers cutting and piercing power hitherto unavailable in a folding knife. To compliment the Talwar's razor edge and lethal point we developed a truly exceptional handle. Made from American G-10, it's textured and contoured pistol grip handle features strategically placed finger grooves for comfort and safety. The Talwar is equipped with industry-leading Tri-Ad lock.
