Browning 036001299 X-Bolt 2 Hunter Full Size 6.8 Western 3+1 24″ Matte Blued Sporter Barrel, Matte Blued Drilled & Tapped Steel Receiver, Fixed Satin Checkered Walnut Stock

Description

The Browning X-Bolt 2 Hunter Full is a bolt action in 6.8 Western with a 24" barrel, a 1:10 twist and 3-round capacity plus one chambered.

A long barrel gives the cartridge room to build velocity, at the cost of handling in tight spaces and some added weight. That is slower than the usual twist for this cartridge, so it favors lighter bullets; very heavy projectiles may not stabilize. It ships without iron sights, so budget for an optic, rings and a base if you do not already have them.

Bolt actions are commonly chosen for hunting and target shooting, where the simpler mechanism and rigid lockup are valued.

This is a serialized firearm. It ships to a licensed dealer near you rather than to your door, and you complete the transfer there with a Form 4473 and a background check. State and local rules govern what can be shipped where, so check yours before ordering – and if you are unsure, ask us first.

The Browning X-Bolt 2 Hunter features reconfigured receiver with additional bolt guidance surface area for smoother operation; redesigned bolt with ergonomic handle shape; adjustable, multiple-lever DLX trigger; Satin checkered Walnut stock; Sporter grip installed with a vertical grip supplied; Sporter contour; thinner bottom metal and 1.25" Inflex recoil pad.
