Description

The Cimarron Firearms 1873 is a lever action in .357 MAGNUM with a 24" barrel, a 1:18.5 twist and 13-round capacity.

A long barrel gives the cartridge room to build velocity, at the cost of handling in tight spaces and some added weight. That is slower than the usual twist for this cartridge, so it favors lighter bullets; very heavy projectiles may not stabilize. It comes with adjustable rear sight.

The .357 MAGNUM is commonly chosen for revolver shooting, hunting and defense. Substantial power and muzzle blast; most revolvers chambered for it will also fire lighter .38 Special.
