The Connecticut Valley Arms / CVA Scout is a single shot in .400 Legend with a 20" barrel, a 1:16 twist and 1-round capacity.
This barrel length is a common compromise: enough to develop most of the cartridge's velocity while staying manageable to carry. Twist rate determines which bullet weights stabilize: a faster twist favors heavier, longer projectiles.
