Description
The Spyderco Endura 4 Lightweight folder features a 3.75" VG-10 stainless blade, clip point, plain edge, FRN handle, orange finish.
The blade is VG-10 SS, a Japanese high-carbon stainless that takes a very fine edge, holds it well, and resists corrosion – a long-standing favourite for folding knives. FRN keeps the weight and the price down while staying tough and textured in hand.
A blade in this range handles heavier everyday tasks and light outdoor work while still carrying comfortably clipped in a pocket.
Carry laws are set locally as well as by state, and a 3.75" blade is legal to carry in many places and not in others – check your state and city rules before you carry it. Knives ship directly to you with no FFL transfer and no background check, unlike a firearm. Keep the blade dry and the pivot clean, and touch the edge up on a strop or fine stone before it gets properly dull – it is far less work than bringing back a blunt edge.
All Endura 4 are distinguished by their skeletonized stainless steel liners and lightweight, injection-molded fiberglass-reinforced-nylon (FRN) handles. This version of the design features a full-flat-ground VG-10 stainless steel blade with a PlainEdge cutting edge. This slim, highly refined blade grind creates incredible edge geometry and a distal taper that reduce friction for superior cutting performance. The handle features Bi-Directional Texturing for a secure, non-slip grip and a four-position hourglass pocket clip that supports left or right-side tip-up or tip-down carry.
