Description
The Spyderco Endura 4 Lightweight features a 3.78" VG-10 stainless blade, clip point, plain edge, FRN handle, black finish.
The blade is VG-10 SS, a Japanese high-carbon stainless that takes a very fine edge, holds it well, and resists corrosion – a long-standing favourite for folding knives. FRN keeps the weight and the price down while staying tough and textured in hand.
A blade in this range handles heavier everyday tasks and light outdoor work while still carrying comfortably clipped in a pocket.
Carry laws are set locally as well as by state, and a 3.78" blade is legal to carry in many places and not in others – check your state and city rules before you carry it. Knives ship directly to you with no FFL transfer and no background check, unlike a firearm. Keep the blade dry and the pivot clean, and touch the edge up on a strop or fine stone before it gets properly dull – it is far less work than bringing back a blunt edge.
Spyderco's Endura 4 Wharncliffe furthers its enviable reputation by combining all the best qualities of the standard version with the extreme cutting power and versatility of a Wharncliffe blade. The straight cutting edge of the Wharncliffe profile cuts with full power along its entire length, enabling it to tackle extreme cutting chores and detailed work with equal ease. A Trademark Round Hole proudly announces its Spyderco lineage and provides swift, ambidextrous, one-handed opening. The high-performance blade is backed by a lightweight, ergonomic handle that includes a sturdy back lock mechanism, skeletonized stainless steel liners, injection-molded fiberglass-reinforced-nylon scales, a high-traction Bi-Directional Texture pattern and a four-position pocket clip.
