The blade is 8Cr13MoV SS, a budget-friendly Chinese stainless that sharpens easily and resists rust well, though it needs touching up more often than premium steels. FRN keeps the weight and the price down while staying tough and textured in hand.

Carry laws are set locally as well as by state, and a 3.39" blade is legal to carry in many places and not in others – check your state and city rules before you carry it.
