The Spyderco Street Bowie fixed blade knife features a 5.05" VG-10 stainless blade, black finish.
The blade is VG-10 SS, a Japanese high-carbon stainless that takes a very fine edge, holds it well, and resists corrosion – a long-standing favourite for folding knives.
A fixed blade of this size suits hunting, camp and outdoor work where strength matters more than pocketability – there is no pivot to fail and it cleans easily.
Carry laws are set locally as well as by state, and a 5.05" blade is legal to carry in many places and not in others – check your state and city rules before you carry it. Knives ship directly to you with no FFL transfer and no background check, unlike a firearm. Keep the blade dry and the pivot clean, and touch the edge up on a strop or fine stone before it gets properly dull – it is far less work than bringing back a blunt edge.

It combines Perrin's distinctive index-finger choil-an effective alternative to a traditional guard-and an injection-molded FRN handle with Kraton rubber inserts to offer exceptional grip security. Its full-flat-ground VG-10 blade is cloaked in a non-reflective black ceramic coating and carries in an injection molded polymer sheath. The sheath's G-Clip attachment offers a broad range of carry positions and may be easily removed to allow other carry options, including lashing to MOLLE gear.
