The Steyr Mannlicher HS50M1 is a bolt action in .50 BMG with a 35" barrel, a 1:15 twist and 5-round capacity.

A long barrel gives the cartridge room to build velocity, at the cost of handling in tight spaces and some added weight. Twist rate determines which bullet weights stabilize: a faster twist favors heavier, longer projectiles.
