Description
The Spyderco Endela Lightweight features a 3.40" VG-10 stainless blade, wharncliffe, plain edge, textured FRN handle, black finish.
The blade is VG-10 SS, a Japanese high-carbon stainless that takes a very fine edge, holds it well, and resists corrosion – a long-standing favourite for folding knives. FRN keeps the weight and the price down while staying tough and textured in hand.
A blade in this range handles heavier everyday tasks and light outdoor work while still carrying comfortably clipped in a pocket.
Carry laws are set locally as well as by state, and a 3.4" blade is legal to carry in many places and not in others – check your state and city rules before you carry it. Knives ship directly to you with no FFL transfer and no background check, unlike a firearm. Keep the blade dry and the pivot clean, and touch the edge up on a strop or fine stone before it gets properly dull – it is far less work than bringing back a blunt edge.
The Spyderco Endela in classic style, its perfectly straight edge and gracefully curved spine merge to create a versatile blade shape that offers both extreme cutting power and scalpel-like precision. Full-flat ground from VG-10 stainless steel and includes a fully accessible round hole for swift, ambidextrous, one-handed opening. It is housed in an injection-molded fiberglass nylon handle featuring skeletonized stainless steel liners, a sturdy back lock mechanism, a non-slip bi-directional texture pattern and a four-position pocket clip that offers a choice of tip-up or tip-down carry on both sides of the body. Includes pocket clip.
